The Villas at Grand Floridian represent the most prestigious villa accommodation at Walt Disney World and in 2026, following the completion of a comprehensive multi-year renovation of the entire resort, they are the finest DVC villa product on property. The Victorian elegance of the Grand Floridian, combined with the space and home-like amenities of the villa configuration, creates a genuinely extraordinary accommodation experience.
The six Grand Villas at the Grand Floridian are a massive 2,800 square feet each and even include a theater room. Old Key West will likely always be divisive among Disney Vacation Club owners, and we suspect most will place it near the top or the bottom of their own lists. Old Key West is receiving a badly-needed room refurbishment throughout 2026. It's the last resort to receive a modernization, and our hope is that it utilizes the larger footprint of the OKW rooms better than the current rooms.
The 2026 refurbishment is genuinely positive news for guests considering Old Key West the resort's beautiful setting and spacious rooms have always been its calling cards, and a freshened interior will address the one area where the resort has historically fallen behind its peers.
